Abstract

This study aimed to determine the comparison of mathematics learning Achievement in the morning time and day time at senior high school students. The sample of this study were student of class XI IPA1 and class XI IPA2 SMAK Sint Carolus Penfui-Kupang. The Data that used in this study were pretest score and posttest score of the both class. The data gotten were analized for by SPSS 22.0 program. Before hypothesis test, the researcher conducted a preconditional test such as normality test and homogeneity test for pretest data and posttest data. Prerequisite test analysis results show the data were normaly distributed and heterogeneous. The average of students’ mathematics learning in the classroom with the learning time of morning is 83,08, while the average of mathematics learning achievementof students in the classroom with the learning timeof day is 77,22. Seen from t test obtained tcount= 2,850 ≥ ttable = 1,677 and x sig. 2-tailed = 0,003 < 0,025, then H0 is rejected. Therefore it can be concluded that the learning achievement of the class with the learning time of morning is superior compared to the class with the learning time of day of sub subject discussion derivation of algebraic function in class XI SMAK Sint Carolus Penfui-Kupang school year 2017/2018.
