Abstract

The main problem in this study is the implementation of learning and its effect on students mathematics learning achievement by using a synectic learning model. This study aims to determine the implementation of team quiz learning models on students mathematics learning achievement on the subject of the pythagorean theorem academic year 2019/2020. The type of research used is quantitative research with pre experimental design methods. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis and parametric statistics using the help of the SPSS 22 program. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 6 Kupang with a population of IX grade as many as 3. Sample classes of this study were IX B classes totaling 21 people who are randomly selected from the population with simple ramdom sampling. Instrument in this research namely observation and learning achievement texts in the form of multiple choice as many as 25 item. Based on the results of observations and achievement indicators obtained student achievement is classified as very good. The T-test results showed that the tcount = 16,753 >ttable= 2,085 with a significance level of 5% which means that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted.
