Abstract

The employees’ performance at Raijua Districts is estimated being influenced by leadership style, employees’ discipline, work environment, and employees’ motivation. This study aims to know: 1) The respondents’ perception on leadership style, employees’ discipline, wotk environment, and employees’ motivation and employees’ performance at Raijua Districts, Sabu Raijua Regency; 2) The significance of effect of leadership style, employees’ discipline, wotk environment, and employees’ motivation partially on employees’ performance at Raijua Districts, Sabu Raijua Regency; 3) The significance of effect of leadership style, employees’ discipline, wotk environment, and employees’ motivation simultaneously on employees’ performance at Raijua Districts, Sabu Raijua Regency. The population in this research is 35 employees and its sample is 34 employes. The data are collected using a questionnaire, observation, interview, and documentation study. The collected data thenare analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistic, t-test and F-test. The results of descriptive statistic analysis indicate that the respondents’ perception on leadership style is categorized as very good (84.167%), employees’ discipline is very good (90.662%), work environment is good (81.993%), work motivation is very good (91.103%), and employees’ performance is very good (90.824%). The results of t-test show that leadership style (2.203, sig. 0.036 < 0.05), work environment (5.604, sig. 0.000 < 0,05), and employees’ motivation (4.212, sig. 0.000 < 0,05) partially have a positive and significant effect on employees’ performance, while employees’ discipline (0.976, sig. 0.337 > 0.05) has an insignificant effect on emploees’ performance. The results of F-test show that 4 independent variables (51.186, sig. 0.000 < 0.05) simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employees’performance. The results of determination coefficient indicate that 4 independent variables contribute 82.9% on employees’performance, while the rest of 17.1% is contributed by other variables excluded in this study. Based on these results, it is suggested to the management of Raijua Districts to render equal attention to the employees’ well-being, to control the employees’ presence, to provide environment of mutual respect among employees, to improve conducive rooms’ temperature, and to appreciate employees’ performance as part of motivating employees.
