Abstract
The Tebe dance originates from Belu Regency. Tebe means sign. The Tebe dance is a social dance that will generally be performed by male and female dancers. This dance is usually danced at traditional house events or other traditional events such as during traditional wedding ceremonies. Tebe dance is an overflow of joy over success or victory where men and women join hands while singing to and fro reciting poems and rhymes (kananuk) which contain praise, supplications and criticism while stomping their feet according to the rhythm and the song. This tebe dance is performed at night. In ancient times it was carried out by the "Meo'' when returning from the battlefield carrying the enemy's head, then staked it and then they circled it all night and usually for three or four days. Meo is brave. The main problem in this research is how to apply the creative Tebe Bot dance for students at SMP Negeri Kimbana. The purpose of this research is to find out the application of the TebeBot Kreasi Dance. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The method used is field action. The data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that ''The Application of the Tebe bot Dance for Students of SMP Negeri Kimbana Using the Imitation and Drill Method'. The results of the research were carried out in three ways, namely the initial stage, self-introduction and recruitment. The core stage was explaining the material and practicing various dance movements. The final stage: staging or taking a video. the results of the study it can be concluded that the process of implementing the Tebe Bot dance creations using imitation and drill methods is effective. This can be proven from the mastery of the skills of Kimbana Public Middle School students in demonstrating the tebe bot dance quite well even though there are difficulties, but this can be overcome by imitation and drill methods. which provides examples and exercises that are carried out repeatedly for students who experience difficulties.
