Abstract
Jhon Sepron Defretus Liem. NIM 8112171022 MM. An analysis the affect of the work environment, leadership style, work motivation on employee performance at Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Kupang with work satisfaction as mediation variable, guide by P. Dr. Cosmas Fernandes, SVD, MA and Dr. Simon Sia Niha SE, M.Si. This research aims to find out the description of the work environment, leadership style, work motivation, and the employees performances at Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Kupang; and to find out significance the affect of the work environment, leadership style, and work motivation on employee job satisfaction. The population of employees at Dinas Pendudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Kupang are 75 peoples and all the population used as a sample in this research. Technique and data collection using questionaire and dokumentation. Techniques analysis data in the form of descriptive statiscal analysis using Levis formula and inferential statiscal analysis trough the SEMPLS approach with the help of SmartPLS sofware. Proof of this research using tstatistics. Based on the calculation by the formula Levis avarage score of respondents’ perception of the employee performance variable, job satisfaction, work environment, leadership style, and the overall environment is categorized high with a precentage of achieving a maximum score i.e. 77,53%, 72,86%, 76,85%, 75, 50%, and 73,54%. The result of t- statistic show that work environment t_statistic are smaller than the t-table i.e. 1,484 (Sig. 0,138 > 0,05), so that the firts hypothesis is rejected. The value of leadership style and work motivation t-statistic is more than t-table i.e. 3,430 nd 3, 051, so that the second and third hypotheses are accepted. The result of work environment, work motivation, and job satisfaction are more than t-table i.e. 3,184, 3, 139 and 2, 051 so that fourth, sixth, and seventh hypotheses are accepted. The value of leadership style t-statistic is smaller than t-table that i.e. 0,411 (Sig. 0,681 > 0,05), so that the fifth hypothesis is rejected. Work environment variable, leadership style, work motivation can be affect to the employees job satisfaction by 85,9%. While, the work environment, leadership style, work motivation, and job satifaction can affect to the employees performances improvement of 89,5%. This research suggests to the several things, namely (1) Creating a comportable work environment, (2) Form the leadership style that can be applied to the other goverment agencies by setting the standards for completing task, (3) Models the work motivation that can be applied in other goverment agencies by providing opportunities for the employees to lead activities and giving advice, (4) To increase the employees job satifaction can be done rigth meeting needs and providing opportunities through challenging work.
