Abstract

Ngada Regency has several tourist objects that are an attraction for tourists consisting of natural tourism, cultural tourism, artificial tourism and special interest tourism. There are 51 tourism objects in Ngada Regency recorded by the Tourism and Culture Office of Ngada Regency. Tourists experience difficulty in determining travel plans because an overview of tourist areas in Ngada Regency is not available, such as tourist locations and descriptions of tourist objects. The Government of Ngada Regency has carried out promotions through mass media such as newspapers. However, this method is not sufficient to convey information about tourist objects in Ngada Regency widely to local and foreign tourists. The method used in this study is the Waterfall method which consists of several stages: analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance with the software used is PHP for the programming language, MYSQL for the database and leaflets for displaying maps. This research resulted in a mobile friendly-based Geographic Information System in Ngada Regency in which there is tourism information in Ngada Regency so that it is more attractive and can be enjoyed by the wider community and information in web form will make it easier for local and foreign tourists to access it.
