Abstract
Inspection Quality is the work quality of the examiner as indicated by a reliable audit report that meets audit standards, measured by misstatement detection indicators, based on SOP, and Audit Risk. The inspectorate has a strategic role in conducting supervision which consists of audits, reviews, evaluations and other supervisory activities. These activities play a very important role in the process of creating accountability and transparency of governance in the regions. The problems in this research are: 1) What is the description of the competence, motivation, work discipline and quality of the audit results at the Inspectorate of the Province of NTT? 2) Does competency have a significant effect on work discipline at the Inspectorate of NTT Province? 3) Does competency have a significant effect on the quality of audit results at the NTT Provincial Inspectorate? 4) Does motivation have a significant effect on work discipline at the Provincial Inspectorate of NTT? 5) Does motivation have a significant effect on the quality of the audit results at the NTT Provincial Inspectorate? 6) Does work discipline have a significant effect on the quality of the audit results at the NTT Provincial Inspectorate? The population in this study was the supervisory apparatus at the Regional Inspectorate of NTT Province, which may be 93 people and because of the limited population, all of them were sampled in this study. The data collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis methods and inferential statistical data analysis. The results of descriptive analysis show that each variable, namely audit quality, work discipline, competence and motivation are in the good enough category. The results of inferential statistical analysis show that the variables of Competence, Motivation and Job Discipline have a positive and significant effect on Hail Audit Quality. Contribution of competency, motivation and work discipline variables to the audit result quality variable is 84.3%. The NTT Provincial Inspectorate was asked to continue to improve and improve competence, motivation, and discipline to improve the quality of examination results.
