Abstract

Performance is the appearance of the work of people in an organization. Performance is generally understood as a record of job positions or results of all work activities over a period of time. The primary survey results indicate that the performance of nurses at St. Carolus Borromeus Hospital Kupang is not optimal during the Covid-19 pandemic. The aim of this thesis are to know about the significant impact of human resource competence, regulation, infrastructure, and burnout nurses at St. Carolus Borromeus Hospital Kupang during the Covid-19 pandemic. Also during the Covid-19 pandemic, the burnout syndrome mediates the impact of human resource competence, regulation and infrastructure on the performance of nurses at St Carolus Borromeus Kupang. The sampling technique used in this study is saturation sampling technique. The data for this study were collected using a questionnaire distributed to all nurses, for a total of 74 people. The data were analyzed using the PLS SEM test. The results of the analysis showed a significant impact on human resource competence (p=0.002), infrastructure (p=0.006) and burnout (p=0.047). The regulatory variables did not significantly impact on the nurse's performance (p = 0.809). As a result, burnout does not mediate the impact of human resource competence, regulations, and infrastructure on nurses’ performance in St. Carolus Boromaus Hospital Kupang during Covid-19 pandemic.
