Abstract

The way a piet.Tallo is included in the classification of secondary road is the road serving movement area are not the center of activities such as urban roads in the region.Limited parking area outside of the road, lead to the use of a parking lot on the street increased. This affects the performance of roads. This research analyzes the changes in the number of effective lines caused by road parking vehicles to levels of durability and average speed. Primary data fetching uses survey methods to calculate the vehicle directly performed for 6 days, so that it gets data on the traffic volume, side barrier, highway geometry and vehicle travel time.The data was then processed and analyzed using a manual guide on the Indonesian road capacity (Mkji ) 1997. Based on the results of analysis using the manual method of capacity road Indonesia at the observation point of piet A Tallo road, The biggest traffic volume on Monday, on 17 April 2023 at peak hours at 10: 00-11: 00 wita with the number of 2154 smp / hour, with the average speed of the existing condition, reaches 32.28 km / h which means the distance that can be covered for an hour is 32.28 km.The results of calculations can be known that the value of capacity at peak hours for the existing conditions is 2244.60 smp / hour, with the value of the degree of saturation of the existing condition reaches 0.96.At this point of observation the los value for the existing condition reaches 0.96 (category e) where the traffic volume is approaching or at an unstable current capacity, Sometimes stop.
