In Lonto Leok culture, a decision-making system through the role of Tu'a Golo, a leader who is respected and recognized by the community, can be an effective approach to managing conflict. The results of the study show that the role of Tu'a Golo as a decision maker can have positive implications in public sector context. The application of Lonto Leok cultural principles in public sector decision-making can help overcome differences of opinion, prevent larger conflicts, and promote fairness and harmony within the organization. The relevance of these findings to public sector decisionmaking is that there is an opportunity to adopt elements of Lonto culture Leok in existing decision-making practices. Public sector leaders can learn Lonto Leok's cultural values, such as fairness, deliberation, and harmonious conflict resolution, to increase decision-making effectiveness and minimize potential conflicts that are detrimental to the organization.
