Abstract

The aims of this study were: (1) To find out the part of the road that was damaged on the shoulder due to scouring on the H. R. Koroh road, (2) To find out the position and produce a map of the location prone to landslides due to shoulder scouring on the H. R. Koroh road, ( 3) To find out the right solution to be implemented in order to minimize the risk of landslides. This study uses a qualitative method. Mapping is needed so that we can find out where there are locations prone to landslides due to scouring of the road shoulder, the mapping area includes Nekamese sub-district, Oelomin village. The data used are secondary data and primary data. Data collection techniques through direct observation. The causes of landslides were analyzed from the longitudinal slope of the road, slope, vegetation and rainfall intensity. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the road sections that have the potential for landslides due to scouring of the shoulder of the road on Jalan H. R. Koroh, have a total road length of 10.3 km, a width of 4.8 m with points of damage along 459 m, have an average score of 1 .84 (Medium).
