Abstract

Toddler nutritional status shows the level of health from the balance between needs and intake of nutrients consumed by toddlers. Determination of the nutritional status of toddlers at the Waiklibang Integrated Service Post (Posyandu), Tanjung Bunga District, East Flores Regency, is carried out by using the KMS (Towards Health Card). The KMS is filled out by Posyandu cadres based on standard anthropometric indices for children, including weight for age (BB/U), height for age (TB/U), weight for height (BB/TB) and body mass index for age (BMI/U). The number of Posyandu cadres who are less than the number of toddlers affects the quality of service performance for mothers and children and affects the performance reports that are made. In addition, to find out the nutritional status of toddlers every month, parents always look for and open KMS. Posyandu cadres also have difficulties in documenting existing toddler nutrition data. This study aims to build a decision support system for determining the nutritional status of toddlers using the web-based SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method. The system development method uses the Waterfall model and the tools used are MySQL, PHP, CSS. The system built besides assisting Posyandu cadres in documenting toddler nutritional data, also assists parents of toddlers in knowing their child's nutritional progress every month through a web-based application.
