Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an increase in learning interest and learning outcomes with the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on vibration and wave material. This research was conducted at Pantai Baru 1 Public Middle School for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. The type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative research. The sample used in this study was taken by purposive sampling technique, namely class VIII B students, totaling 30 people. The tools and instruments used in this study were in the form of lesson plans, teaching materials, student worksheets, interest questionnaire grids and multiple choice (PG) learning outcomes test questions. The data analysis technique in this study is descriptive analysis and the N-Gain test. The results of the study show that there is an interest in learning towards learning outcomes with the Teams Games Tournamet learning model. This is seen from the results of the descriptive test, the average percentage of learning interest indicators in the pretest is 67,04% with the high interest category and the average posttest percentage is 79,04% with the very high category. As for the learning outcomes of students in the initial test, it obtained an average of 33.17 and the final test obtained an average of 88.5. interest in learning and student learning outcomes on vibration and wave material.
