Abstract

Houses are a basic need for all levels of society, from the upper class, middle class to the lower class. Housing is a collection of houses in one area. The existence of a house in one area has a big influence on the surrounding environment. Housing construction that is less responsive to the environment will result in environmental damage, such as the use of manufactured materials which have a negative impact on the environment, lack of use of surrounding land as a green area to minimize dirty air entering, and so on. To minimize these negative things, it is necessary to apply environmentally friendly building concepts, one of which is the concept of green architecture, which is responsive to the environment with various considerations such as the use of biopores in residential areas, the use of solar panels to save electrical energy in the form of lighting, the use of natural materials such as wood, bamboo, use of biogas to save electricity and gas for cooking, gray water and so on.
