Abstract

Planning is a process for determining appropriate actionsin the future through systematic choices. Meanwhile, design is an effort to find the right physical components of a physical structure. Good buildings don't just happen. These buildings are planned to look good and function well, and this happens when the architect is good and the clients are good and wise in working together. Preparing the program which is a requirement for the building plan is the task of the architect, and this is the most important thing before planning. The word observatory comes from the Latin word observare or observat which means to see, observe, then the word became observatorium which means place of observation. Meanwhile, the origin of the word observatory in English, namely observatory, comes from the French observatoire which also comes from the Latin word observare which was mentioned previously. So the word observatory is close to observation.
