Abstract

Performance Analysis of the Department of Tourism, Creative Economy and Culture in Management of the Batu Cermin Cave Destination, Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai Regency. This research is based on the problems faced by tourism in increasing the number of visitors and inadequate sector infrastructure, such as scattered rubbish and insufficient supporting facilities. The aim of this research is to find out how creative economy and cultural tourism companies in the West Manggarai region have succeeded in managing the Batu Mirror Cave destination. This research uses a qualitative approach. This study uses the performance indicator theory put forward by Sadu Wasistiono. These indicators consist of Productivity indicators, Public Service Indicators, Responsiveness Indicators and Responsibility Indicators. The results of the research show that the Department of Tourism, Creative Economy and Culture of West Manggarai Regency is very good at managing the Batu Cermin Cave Destination. The work program created increases the number of visits every year. With that, visitors are happy with the facilities and amenities. Apart from that, the management of the Batu Mirror Cave destination collaborates with third parties, such as Perunda Bidadari. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Department of Tourism, Creative Economy and Culture of West Manggarai Regency is very good at managing and developing the Batu Cermin Cave destination. Judging from how the Tourism Department manages the Batu Cermin Cave destination and how visitors act.
