Abstract

Bajawa is a district that is also the capital of Ngada Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. Bajawa is located on the island of Flores with an area of approximately 137.36 km². Due to its altitude, Bajawa has a relatively cool climate and fresh air. The area is also known for its beautiful mountains. Bajawa is home to various Flores tribes and ethnic groups, such as the Ngada Tribe. However, many tourists are unaware of the diversity of culinary heritage and tourist attractions in Bajawa because the information has not been well documented and poorly promoted. This has led to a lack of appreciation for the area's rich culinary and tourism potential. This research aims to improve the promotion and accessibility of information about the potential tourist attractions and culinary specialties of Bajawa, including visual information in the form of photos and videos that Bajawa has as an area with natural beauty in East Nusa Tenggara. This research uses the waterfall method. The result of this research is a web-based Bajawa tourism and culinary portal that can promote Bajawa tourism and culinary specialties. This portal is the main source of information for tourists who want to explore the beauty and uniqueness of Bajawa, as well as encouraging active participation from local communities in promoting and preserving the culture and natural wealth of Bajawa. Using the latest web technology, this portal is expected to be the main source of information for tourists who want to explore the beauty and uniqueness of Bajawa, as well as encouraging active participation from local communities in promoting and preserving the culture and natural wealth of their area.
