Abstract

The Travel Order Information System is a system created for the correspondence process regarding official travel orders (SPPD). The data processed includes activities, costs, employee data input, transportation, and signatures. From observations and interviews with the Head of Finance of the TTU Regency DPRD, it was found that the management process of official travels in the TTU Regency DPRD is still done in a simple manner. The recording process is still semi-manual and only done with the help of Microsoft Office applications. As a result, producing all reports is still considered inaccurate and relatively slow to complete. This research was conducted at the TTU Regency DPRD using research methods including data collection, literature study, field study, needs analysis,system design, and system implementation. The program is titled "Web-Based Travel Order Information System" and the system design uses UML. This system is built using the PHP programming language and the MySQL database. From the system implementation results, it can be concluded that the use of software can help the finance department in managing travel order letters at the TTU Regency DPRD. The usability testing results obtained an average score of 4.81, which means this system is rated good by the users.
