Abstract
This research was written by Maria Yoriyanti Sartika (31120047), Development Economics Study Program, under the guidance of Mr. Dr. Stanis Man, SE, M.Si as supervisor I, and Mr. Adrianus Ketmoen, SE, MM as supervisor II, with the research title "Analysis of Macro Variables of Educated Unemployment in East Nusa Tenggara Province". This research aims to describe the influence of the regional minimum wage, labor force participation rate, and gross regional domestic product on educated unemployment in the province of East Nusa Tenggara descriptively, and to determine the simultaneous and partial influence between the regional minimum wage, labor force participation rate, and gross regional domestic product on educated unemployment in East Nusa Tenggara province statistically. This research is quantitative in nature, sourced from secondary data obtained from data on regional minimum wages, labor force participation rates, and gross regional domestic product at the East Nusa Tenggara Province Central Statistics Agency. The population in this study is all data on educated unemployment, regional minimum wages, labor force participation rates, and gross regional domestic product taken based on time period. The sample used in this research is data on educated unemployment, regional minimum wages, labor force participation rates, and gross regional domestic product for the last 15 years (2009-2023). The data collected was then processed using the E-Views 12 program, to see the results of descriptive statistics, multiple linear regression, classical assumption tests, hypothesis tests, and determination tests (R^2). The partial test results show that the Regional Minimum Wage Variable (X1) has a negative but significant effect on educated unemployment in East Nusa Tenggara Province as indicated by the calculated t value of -2.678200. Based on a significance level of 0.05 and df = 12, the t table is 1.7826. If compared with the calculated t then -2.678200 < 1.7826 and the prob (significance) value is 0.0215, the Labor Force Participation Level variable (X2) has a negative and insignificant effect on educated unemployment in East Nusa Tenggara Province as shown by the value t count is -2.713622. Based on a significance level of 0.05 and df = 12, the t table is 1.7826. If compared with the calculated t then - 2.713622 < 1.7826, the prob (significance) value is 0.3202. The Gross Regional Domestic Product variable (X3) has a positive and significant effect on educated unemployment in East Nusa Tenggara Province as shown by the calculated t value of 5.913079. Based on a significance level of 0.05 and df = 12, the t table is 1.7826. If compared with the calculated t, it is 5.913079 > 1.7826, the prob (significance) value is 0.0001. Simultaneous test results show an F-count value of 12.59736 > F table of 4.7478 with a Prob (F-statistic) of 0.000702, so it can be concluded that the Regional Minimum Wage variable (X1), the Labor Force Participation Level variable (X2 ), and the Gross Regional Domestic Product variable (X3) simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on educated unemployment in East Nusa Tenggara Province. The coefficient of determination in this study was 71%, while the remaining 29% was influenced by other variables not included in this study. It is hoped that future researchers can add other variables that can influence Educated Unemployment in East Nusa Tenggara Province, so that they can provide even better results.
