Abstract
This research is entitled: Analysis of the Application of Fingerprints in Enforcing Employee Discipline at the BAPPELITBANGDA Office, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The formulation of the problem in this research is how to apply fingerprints in enforcing employee discipline at the BAPPELITBANGDA Office of East Nusa Tenggara Province? The aim of this research is to describe the application of fingerprints in enforcing employee discipline at the BAPPELITBANGDA office in East Nusa Tenggara Province. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data sources include primary data and secondary data. Determining informants in this research used a purposive sampling technique, namely a technique for sampling data sources with certain considerations. The data was analyzed qualitatively to describe the application of fingerprints in enforcing employee discipline at the BAPPELITBANGDA Office of East Nusa Tenggara Province. The theory used in this research is Work Discipline. Work discipline isas an attitude of respect, respect, obedience and obedience to applicable regulations both written and unwritten and being able to carry them out and not avoiding accepting sanctions if an employee violates the duties and authority given to him. Indicators from the theory above are attendance, adherence to work standards, and leadership assertiveness. From the results of the analysis it can be concluded that: there are still some employees who are late for work and leave earlier than the specified time, sanctions given to employees who are disciplinary can be in the form of cutting allowances that apply to civil servants as well as receiving administrative sanctions in the form of written warnings, the firmness of the office leadership in enforcing the rules so that there are no more undisciplined employees, by continuing to give advice to employees and giving warning letters to employees who are not disciplined, and as for the problems that occur when using fingerprint machines, namely the machine does not respond or has an error and the network who are often disturbed.
