Abstract

This thesis is entitled "Village Goverment Efforts to Overcome stunting in Timau Village North West Amfoang District Kupang Regency ". The problem formulation proposed in this thesis is how the village goverment attempts to overcome stunting in Timau Village Amfoang Barat Laut District Kupang Regency. The method used in this the search is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, drawing and conclusions. The Results of the research show that efforts overcome stunting are realized through several activities , including : (1) Training Activities carried out the by Gething Padu Group, invovling socalization and training activities related to how to consume healthy and nutritionis food, providing an undersanting of education an good nutritional pratices to how to process local food for stunded children and pregnant women. Apart from that, in this socalization there are also directions for maintaining a clean environment. The Timau village Goverment is very enthusiastic about these training and outreach activities. (2) Evaluation of Program Work Perfomance is carried out by the Goverment of Timau Village, Amfoang Barat Laut District, Kupang Regerency, together with healt and community authorities to pay attention to overall program performance, determine weeknesses and strengths in training and implementation programs and provide appropriate solutions related to nutritional interventions for children and pregnant women, medical interventions for pregnant women and routine check-ups and imunization interventions for children to overcome the problem of stunting. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the Timau Village Goverment, Amfoang Barat Laut District, Kupang Regerency has played a significant but now optimal role in overcoming the problem of stunting which efffects children and pregnant women. This inclaudes espects of training and evaluation of the work performamce of programs that have been implented to overcome stunting.
