Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the learning diffliculties of Junior High School Students in Solving two- variabel linear Equantion System Problems, especially the students of grade VIII in public Junior High School 3 Of Kupang Tengah. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative approach. Subjects of this research are 2 students, chosen from 25 students. The subjects are chosen using purposive sample method, whom these two students have middling and lowes capasity. This research uses problem solving test, interview and documentation in collecting the datas. The steps of data analysis includes polya indikator,described such as: a). Middling capacity student in solving problems based on Polya steps is able to understand the problem, but still can`t draw a conclusion plan, doing conclusion plan and recheck the canclusion. This happens because the student is not able to create concepts regarding to the given problems and compossing conclusion steps regarzing to the problem, so that the problems can be systematically solved. b). Lower capacity student is able to understand problems based on Polya syeps but still can`t draw a conclusion. This happens cause the student is not able to create concepts regarding to the problems so that can be systematically solved.
