Abstract

This research was written by Theresia Wini Wea (31121046) of the Development Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business under the guidance of Mrs. Dr. M.E. Perseveranda, S.E. M.Si and Supervisor II Adrianus Ketmoen, SE. MM with the research title "Analysis of the Effectiveness of Village Income and Expenditure in Improving the Economy Based on Local Potential in Selalejo Timur Village, Nagekeo Regency". The formulation of the problem in this study is 1) How is the description of the Village Budget in Selalejo Timur Village? 2) How is the development of the level of effectiveness of the Village Budget in Selalejo Timur Village in 2020-2024? 3) What are the inhibiting or supporting factors in the implementation of the Village Budget in improving the welfare of the Community in Selalejo Timur Village? 4) What is the impact of the effectiveness of village financial management in improving the economy based on local potential in Selalejo Timur Village? The objectives of this study are 1) To find out the description of the Village Budget in Selalejo Timur Village 2) To find out the development of the effectiveness of the Village Budget in Selalejo Timur Village in 2020-2024 3) To find out the inhibiting or supporting factors in the implementation of the Village Budget in improving the welfare of the Community in Selalejo Timur Village 4) To find out the impact of the effectiveness of village financial management in improving the economy based on local potential in Selalejo Timur Village. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive Qualitative with data collection methods through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that East Selalejo Village has shown good performance in realizing income, although the effectiveness of village spending fluctuates. The main supporting factors include active community participation in mutual cooperation activities and local government support through guidance and assistance for village officials. The existence of direct cash assistance (BLT) from village funds also has a positive impact on meeting basic needs and the health of vulnerable communities. However, local potential development programs such as nutmeg syrup and ginger juice have not shown a significant impact on improving the economy. These findings underline the importance of collaboration between village governments, communities and related parties to create relevant and sustainable development. This research concludes that the effectiveness of village income and expenditure management has a crucial role in local economic development. This research investigates how the APBDes in East Selalejo Village is managed, its level of effectiveness from 2020-2024, and identifies internal and external factors that influence the success or failure of the programs implemented. Suggestions for village governments include increasing resource capacity, active community participation so that village governments can be more optimal and provide maximum benefits for the community.
