Abstract
Puú Panda Dance is a combination of several typical dances from Ende Lio, which tells about the joy of the Ende people for their victory in seizing power from other tribes. This dance is created from four special dances of Ende Lio, namely Woge Dance, Wanda Paú Dance, Gawi Dance and Roko Tenda Dance. The problem in this study is How is the form of Pu'u Panda Creative Dance applied to students interested in dance at SMAN 1 Kupang and How is the learning process of applying the form of Pu'u Panda Dance applied to students interested in dance. And the purpose of this study is To describe the form of Puú Panda Creative Dance applied to students interested in dance at SMAN 1 Kupang. And To find out and describe the learning process of Pu'u Panda Creative Dance applied to students interested in dance. This research was conducted with field actions with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained through observation, interview and documentation techniques, the results of this study using canon composition, with nine meetings with one video take. The implementation of this learning obtained results with 12 students, with having a little more advantage in dance. There are original Ende musical instruments used when using instruments for dance, namely, gongs and drums. Each movement is taught in stages and adapted to the students' ability level. By the end of the lesson, students are able to perform the Pu'u Panda Dance in its entirety, with a complete dance composition structure. In addition to improving their dancing skills, this activity also strengthens students' understanding of local cultural values and enhances their familiarity with Ende dance. This learning is expected to serve as a foundation for developing local culture-based dance teaching methods in other schools.
