Abstract

The problem of the use of learning media faced by the fourth grade teachers at Inpres Oepura 2 Elementary School is the number of instructional media that makes teachers difficult to determine learning media that is appropriate to the learning objectives so that it influences the teacher's interest in utilizing learning media so that it has implications for monotonous and saturating learning patterns. The application that was built aims to help and facilitate the teacher to determine the learning media in accordance with the flowchart model developed by Ragne Reiser and Anderson. The method used in the engineering of this application is the method of structuring the SDLC Waterfall model with testing using black box testing techniques. Problem solving techniques are implemented into expert systems using the forward chaining method while the tolls used to build this application are Java SDK, Eclipse and MySQl. The application that was built aims to help and facilitate the teacher to determine the learning media in accordance with the flowchart model developed by Ragne Reiser and Anderson.
