Abstract

The design and construction of this apartment is located in Kupang City, specifically on Jalan CBD Boulevard I. This location has a high population density and unplanned land use, making it suitable for the building's design. An apartment is a residential unit consisting of a bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen, and lounge, located on a single floor of a vertical building divided into several residential units and equipped with supporting facilities. The population growth in Kupang City is administratively significant, as it serves as the provincial capital of East Nusa Tenggara, as well as a regional development center, service center, and a major city in NTT. This vertical housing development is called an apartment. In the future, sooner or later, apartments will occupy a strategic position within the housing context. In the design and planning of this apartment, the discussion focuses on a concept that considers the needs of its users. By considering user needs, the design of this apartment in Kupang City is expected to address housing issues for students, tourists, researchers, unmarried workers, and small families.
