Abstract

Penjahit Filomena is a home-based tailoring business that has been operating for many years and is well known for its commitment to high-quality sewing results and personalized customer service. Despite its good reputation, customer and order data management is still handled manually, often leading to challenges in record-keeping, information retrieval, and operational efficiency. To address these issues, this study aims to design and develop a management information system that can digitize Penjahit Filomena’s business processes in a more structured and efficient manner. The system is designed to manage customer and order data, as well as provide an online monitoring feature so that customers can track the status of their orders in real-time. The development process includes the stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The outcome of this research is of a management information system that supports the improvement of operational performance and service quality at Penjahit Filomena
