Abstract

The library of SMA Negeri 4 Kupang plays a crucial role in providing learning resources and information for students. However, the current manual system for searching and managing books causes many difficulties and inconveniences. This proposal aims to develop a webbased library information system that can facilitate students, teachers, and library staff in accessing library collection information, borrowing, and returning books efficiently. The system will be equipped with advanced search features, due date notifications, and statistical reports. The development of the system will use the Waterfall method, which includes the stages of design, implementation, verification, and maintenance. It is expected that this system can enhance information accessibility, service efficiency, and book collection management in the library of SMA Negeri 4 Kupang, as well as support the school's commitment to utilizing information technology to improve the quality of education.
