Abstract

The writing of us thesis uses the library method. The object od study in writing this thesis is throught : Systematic desentization technique and student anxiety in facing exams. The source of data for writing this thesis is a secondary data source. The type of data in writing this thesis is descriptive qualitative. The results of the data obtaind in writing this thesis are 1). Systematic desentization technique can be used to reduce student anxiety, because this technique is one of the technique developed in counseling guidance, which aims to help student remove their anxiety by comfortable and relax a worrying situation. 2). The procedurNfor using systematic desentitization tehniques to reduce student anxiety in facing exams is carried out through 7 stages, namely rational delivery, hierarchical construcion image evaluation stages, scene presentation stages and homework or follow-up stages. 3). Systematic desentization tehniques is effective in reducing student anxiety in facing exams. Starting from the result of writing this thesis, the outhors provide suggestion 1). For readers as serve as reference material to study further about the use of decentization tehniques to reduce student anxiety facing exams.(2). For writers, it is hoped that they can increase knowledge, applaying systematic tehniques for student anxiety in facing exams.
