Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a Web-based Indonesian Translation application into the Ende Lio language that is able to help the general public to translate certain words or sentences and to preserve the Ende Lio regional language from the younger generation who are starting to stutter using their own regional language. This research was conducted using a rule-based approach to translate certain words or sentences from Indonesian into the Ende Lio language. Based on the test results, the Indonesian Translation Application into the Ende Lio language can translate basic words, affixed words, simple sentences without clauses, and simple sentences with one clause, so this application is suitable to be used to help the younger generation and people outside the Ende Lio area.
