Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is influence the application of learning Team Assisted Individualization of the junior high school student mathematics achievement. The method used is experimental research, research design is one group pretest and posttest design. The sample in this research is class VIIA totaling 24 people. The data used in this research is data pretest and posttest of the experimental class (Team Assisted Individualization) data obtained were analyzed using SPSS 16 manual analysis. Prior to testing hypotheses, normality test for data pretest and posttest of data, the results obtained Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.422 > 0.05 while Dhitung = 0.179 (manual Dhitung = 0.17) < Dtabel = 2.068 thus accepted meaning H0 normal distribution of data. While data postest Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.664 > 0.05 while Dhitung = 0.149 (manual Dhitung = 0.17) < Dtabel = 2.068 thus accepted meaning H0 normal distribution of data. SPSS analysis of the results obtained Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05 while thitung = 17.179 with df = n-1, obtained df = 23, with a significance level α / 2 = 0.025 = 0.275 values obtained thitung Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 <0.05 and thitung = 17.179 > ttabel = 0.275. Under the terms t test and criteria for acceptance and rejection H0 in chapter III with significant level of 5%, it can be concluded H0 rejected and Ha accepted which means there is significant influence learning model Team Assisted Individualization the mathematics achievement of students of class VII SMP Private Stella Gratia Atambua year 2015/2016 teachings. These results indicate that the application of learning Team Assisted Individualization effect on mathematics achievement therefore the authors suggest for teachers to use learning model Team Assisted Individualization as one of the models that are taught in class according to the material taught.
