Abstract

This study departed from the difficulty of students to solve problems the subject of trigonometry. It is the basis of researchers to seek out solving problem mathematic trigonometry subject by setting the research title. The problem in this research is how the difficulty of students to solve problems the subject of trigonometry on student class x senior high school 7 kupang school year 2015/2016. Purpose of this study is to describe the difficulties of students to solve problems the subject of trigonometry on student class x senior high school 7 kupang school year 2015/2016. This research subject is class x sma 7 kupang which amounted to three people who have been selected based on the level of student ability. In analyzing the data, researchers used a technique descriptive data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and inference data. Based on the results of the study, the researchers came to the conclusion that student tend to have difficulty understanding the concept to solve problems subject trigonometry.
