Abstract

Learning of interest is one of the factors that influence the results of the learning as without, then students had lack a sense of love or attraction towards what her want to learned. To attracted the students interest then teacher must be able to manage process of learning starting from planning, implementation, and evaluation. Teacher should be able to select and apply models of learning that can bring benefit for students from which her learned that relates to their lives. Therefore the problem-based learning model can be applied in the learning process because of this model of learning using authentic problems. So the goal of this research is to know the influence of learning interest against the results of the learning by applying the model-based learning and specifically the objective of this research was: 1) Describe the ability of teacher in managing learning activities by applying the model of problem-based learning, subject matter temperature and changes; 2) Describes the indicators outcome learning thoroughly by applying a model of problem-based learning, subject matter, temperature and changes; 3) Describe the learning outcomes of students in the learning process by applying a model of problem-based learning, subject matter temperature and changes; 4) Describes of students interest in the learning process by applying a model of problem-based learning, subject matter temperature and changes; 5) Is there any the significant influence between the learning interest against the results of the study by applying the model of problem-based learning, subject matter temperature and changes. The research design used for descriptive research i.e. One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design and research for the design of inferensial is XY (x: learning interest and y: the results of the study). The results of the research obtained are: The ability of teacher in managing learning activities by applying model-based learning problems in the planning stages with a total average score i.e. 3.96, stage of implementation with a total average score, i.e. 3.82, and evaluation stages with a total average score, i.e. 4.00; Indicators outcome Learning in the process of learning the IPA on a subject matter temperature and changes by applying model-based learning problems with the average proportion of the total indicators of the results of the learning cognitive: 0.88, total average proportion of affective learning outcomes: 0.88, total average psychomotor learning results: 0.88, and total the average proportion of the results of the learning process: 0.98; Outcomes learning grade VII FROM Santa Familia Junior High School Kupang in the process learning IPA of subject matter temperature and changes by applying model-based learning problems with the total average proportion of cognitive learning results: 0.84, total average proportion of affective learning outcomes: 0.87, total average proportion of psychomotor learning results: 0.86, and total the average proportion of the results of the learning process: 0.98; Learning interest of the learners Class VII FROM Santa Familia Junior High School Kupang with an average tally the score obtained is 78% with a value of Ŷ = 48,934 + 0,484X which means the absence of interest in learning the results of learning has value of each 48.934 unit and if each addition of units of interest in learning the learners will improve the learning results of 0.484. Earned value Fhitung ≥ Ftabel; 13,853 ≥ 4,20 then Ho rejected which means there is a significant influence among the learning interest in students towards learning outcomes. The value of the rhitung obtained namely in 0,575 and are on the interval coefficient 0.40-0,599 with the level of strong relationships with donations given learning interest towards learning outcomes is 37%. It can be concluded: 1) The ability of teacher in managing the implementation of learning in learning with problem-based learning model is in a category either; 2) Indicators the results of learning in progress learning IPA of subject matter temperature and changes by applying a model of problem-based learning are in categories has been completed; 3) Outcomes learning grade VII FROM Santa Familia Junior High School Kupang in the proces learning IPA of subject matter temperature and changes by applying a model of problem-based learning is in categories has been completed; 4) Learning interest grade VII FROM Santa Familia Junior High School Kupang i.e. amounting to 78%; 5) There was a significant influence between the learning interest against the results of the study by applying the model of problem-based learning, subject matter temperature and changes.
