Abstract

The formulation of the problem of writing this thesis is how the Effectiveness of Parking Retribution in Pasar Kasih. This writing aims to analyze and describe the effectiveness of parking fees in Pasar Kasih. In research. The theory used as an analysis in this study uses the theory of effectiveness. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method. Sources of data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from informants directly while secondary data was obtained from data related to research variables in the form of literature, previous research, and books. The results showed that the effectiveness of Pasar Kasih retribution could be measured through three aspects, namely productivity, satisfaction, and development. Based on the results of the productivity analysis, there is a determination of the achievement of targets according to the receipt of parking fees and their realization in 2020 has increased. Parking management at Pasar Kasih has not fully satisfied parking service users because the PD Pasar and the contractor have not provided satisfactory services in accordance with the expectations of parking service users, for example, they have not paid attention to the parking facilities provided, the location of the parking lot is not large enough, often traders selling goods near the parking location so that the parking lot is getting narrower and traffic jams occur. At this time, Pasar Kasih is still far from the expectations and needs of parking service users. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the increasing acceptance of parking fees at the Kasih Market was not supported by the availability of facilities and infrastructure that gave satisfaction to parking service users at the Kasih Market. From the conclusions above, some suggestions can be recommended, namely paying attention to facilities such as providing parking signs, conducting supervision by preparing security guards at each parking location point, setting collection hours based on cooperation, providing parking attributes, providing good collection procedures for parking service users, control every vehicle that enters the parking location.
