Abstract

Lecturers are professional educators and scientists with the main task of transforming, develop, and disseminate science, technology, and the arts through education, research, and community service. Lecturers must have academic qualifications, competence, educator certificate, physically and mentally healthy, and meet the other qualifications required higher education unit in charge of the place, and have the ability to achieve national education goals. Lecturers are directly responsible for the success of the process. Currently the use of the device at the Department of Informatics learning still use word processing programs such as Microsoft Word and berpdf file so that data is not well-organized. A system that can provide convenience to users to manage, upload, edit the content to be displayed on a web called Content Management System (CMS). Content Management System (CMS) has the advantage that it provides flexibility in managing workflow and permissions, thereby enlarging the opportunity and participation of users in the development of the website. This CMS learning devices store data in a database so that the use of this CMS organizing data to minimize the learning tools that are less good. Therefore, CMS is urgently needed by the lecturers to make learning device of teaching subjects. Thus, students are also able to see and monitor the learning device of the courses taken to be a reference in lectures and reference in the study.
