Abstract

This paper is entitled Rejuvenation of the Berdao Atambua People's Market Area in Belu Regency (Ecological Architectural Approach). The main problems in this study are: Some of the existing facilities are still not good and inadequate so that they need to be optimized and increased in number, The main entrance and side entrance are not well regulated, causing problems, the absence of parking spaces, causing congestion and poor circulation, causing discomfort to consumers. The objectives of this study are: Optimizing the function of the Berdao Atambua People's Market through rejuvenation with an Architectural Ecology approach that can accommodate buying and selling activities and represent the cultural identity of Belu Regency. The basis of the analysis and of this goal is the realization of an integrated form and space with special characteristics in the entire building complex so that users can feel the function of the building. As well as the optimal design of the Atambua People's Market space and can accommodate the characteristics of merchant activities with the integration of the Architectural Ecological Approach so that it can meet the needs of current and future trading activities
