Abstract

The problem of study in this research is how the learning motivation in math and the application of TTW learning strategy in teaching statistics at VIIB grade students in SMPN 4 Kupang. TTW strategy is a teaching strategy that emparachters on student’s activite participation this research aimod at describing learning motivation in math and the application of Think Talk Write strategy whose partcipants were the VIIB grade students in SMP 4 kupang. They were about 32 students. This research used descriptive qualitative design where in collecting the data, the researcher used observation, test, interview, docummentation and triangulation. The instruments of this research were observation, test, interview, docummentation and triangulation. There were, three stagers in doing this research pre-operational activity, whilst operational activity, and pro-operational activity i analyzing the data, the researcher used data teduction, clasification, and drowing conclusion. The results of findings were teacher’s skillin managing students creativity, student’s achievement, and students problem while teaching learning processin discussion the researcher explained about teachersskill in managing teaching learning prosess whic was in good level and students activity were sufficient. There conclution was drown from there observation. Based on the above explanation, it might the cooncluded that the aplication of TTW of strategy could improve students motivation in learning math.
