Abstract

Mathematics is often seen as a frightening specter so students will find it dificult in mathematics. At SDK Weoe shiws that Mathematics learning is carried out it still centered on the teacher and students do not understand the material taught so that the impact on student learning outcomes is low. The purpose of this study was to create multimedia based mathematics learning applications that were able to increase students interest in learning about mathematics, making it easir for students to understand mathematical material. The method used to build this application is a multimedia development method which consists of several stages, namely: preparation, design, material collection, manufacture and testing. This application was built using Macromedia Flash 8. This multimedia based Mathematics learning application includes material, animation and quizzes which are presented in a richer form than conventional learning media. It is expected that the learning atmosphere in the classroom will be more fun and not boring for students, and able to increase and desire to learn. This applocation can be used as a supporting media for learning for teachers and students.
