Abstract

Tuberculosis is a very dangerous and easily transmitted disease directly caused by infection with the Mycobacterium Tuberculosis bacteria. The cause of TB disease is very easily transmitted through the air from the source of transmission, namely TB sufferers when coughing or sneezing, TB transmission is also transmitted through the air in sputum splashes. Tuberculosis can attack anyone, especially children and productive age / still actively working. Lack of facilities to help diagnose tuberculosis early so that it can endanger public safety. Then we need an expert system that is useful for diagnosing disease symptoms using the Forward Chaining method. This research produces a web-based expert system to assist health workers and the public in making an early diagnosis of tuberculosis.
