Abstract

This thesis is entitled: “The Role of Trade, Cooperatives and Small-Medium Enterprises Office in Ikat Weaving Production Sikka Regency (Study on Mbola So Ikat Weaving Group)”. The objective of this study is tofind out the analysis ofthe role of Trade, Cooperatives and Small-Medium Enterprises Office as the entrepreneur and facilitator of Ikat Weaving production in Mbola So Ikat Weaving Group. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The informant determination technique is using purposive sampling technique. The data collection carries out through the process of interview, observation and documentation. The result of the study shows that the role of Trade, Cooperatives and Small-Medium Enterprises Office in ikat weaving production for Mbola So Ikat Weaving Group is not maximal. From the entrepreneur role, product inovation and marketing training from Trade, Cooperatives and Small-Medium Enterprises Office in Sikka Regency gives training only to some ikat weaving group and from the facilitator role, the government do not give facilities yet such as house production and ikat weaving exhibitor especially for Mbola So Ikat Weaving Group. It is because of limited budget as a result of covid-19.
