Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of self-efficacy on students' mathematics learning achievement. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA SMAN 7 Kupang, amounting to 120. Based on the Isaach and Michael tables the sample in this study was taken 92. The sampling technique was taken randomly using simple random sampling technique. The data used in this study are self-efficacy questionnaire and mathematics learning achievement test data from all students of class XI Science. The data obtained will be analyzed using t test. Before testing the hypothesis, a prerequisite test was carried out, namely the normality test for the self-efficacy questionnaire and learning achievement test. From the results of the self efficacy questionnaire data analysis, the Asymp value was obtained. Sig. (2-talled) = 0.156> 0.05 and Dhitung = 0.082 <D table = 0.141 then H0 is accepted and it is concluded that the data is normally distributed. While the data on the results of mathematics learning achievement are obtained asympt. Sig. (2- talled) = 0.200> 0.05 and Dhitung = 0.077 <D table = 0.141 then H0 is accepted and it is concluded that the data is normally distributed. Hypothesis testing uses the SPSS version 22.0 program, after the data are analyzed, the Sig. (2- talled) = 0.006 <0.05 and thitung = 2.807> 1.66177 = t table values are rejected, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of achievement student mathematics learning.
