Abstract

The study was to identify factors that affected the native income of the tourist sector area of belu district. It uses a quantitative type of descriptive research that is linear regression. Data sources are from the tourism service, the county revenue and statistics department of belu district. Where the income from the tourism sector isa dependent variable, while independent variables amount of tourist visitations, hotel living levels and per capita income. With data processing techniques using classic assumptions test, linear regression analysis, hypothetical and coefficient determinations test with the help of SPSS software 23 for Windows. Studies show that partial variance in the number of visitations affects negative and significant by 0.003 (< 0.05); Hotel living levels are positive and significant impact by 0,000 (< 0.05); Per capita income is positive and significant by 0.001 (< 0.05). Simultaneous tests indicate that a variable in the number of tourist visits, hotel living rates and per capita incomes are significant by 0,000 (< 0.05) on the income from the tourist sector of belu district. This is recommended for belu county governments to make arrangements for the development of tourist attractions and the economic aspects of tourism so as to increase revenue from the tourism sector.
