Abstract

The title is a short phrase that tells the reader about the content of a study. In grouping the title of the Final Project it is still difficult to group. If grouped with human abilities, they still experience difficulties because the contents of the Final Project are very large. It will take a long time. The management of words contained in the abstract has a similarity between one abstract and another so that there is ambiguity in grouping several topics. In this study, the classification of documents was carried out on the title of the final project for Computer Science students at the Faculty of Engineering, Widya Mandira Catholic University (UNWIRA). The data used in this study is the abstract of the Final Project in the Computer Science Study Program. The method used in this classification is the Naive Bayes Classifier algorithm method and uses the PHP and MYSQL programming languages as databases. The expected results in this study are to be able to build a website-based system that can assist study programs in grouping Computer Science students' final assignments using the naïve Bayes classifier algorithm.
