Abstract

This research is entitled Orientation of the East Nusa Tenggara PDI Perjuangan DPD Against Marhaenism as a Struggle Orientation. The formulation of the problem in writing this thesis is How is the Orientation of the East Nusa Tenggara PDI Perjuangan DPD Against Marhaenism as a Struggle Orientation. The theory used by researchers in solving research problems is Party and Political Ideology, political orientation and ideology of marhaenism. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Primary data sources are informants while secondary data are documents related to research variables. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis stage was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing stage and then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The research results show that (1). Cognitive Orientation in the form of DPD PDIP NTT implementing political education through tiered party schools, namely primary cadre education activities and middle cadre education which aims to build culture and consolidate PDIP for prospective cadres and skills related to winning elections such as political communication skills, leadership, interpersonal communication related to mass mobilization , political representation and handling of a problem in making a policy that favors the marhaen. (2). Affective Orientation in the form of ten (10) members of the NTT DPRD conducting recess activities 3 times a year, this proves that it has aggregated and articulated community aspirations through recesses and pokir funds that side with the marginalized, such as absorbing the aspirations of education, health, agriculture, roads, garbage , and teacher welfare. Political Policy Making red wine has benefited the interests of the marhaen in the form of alleviating poverty and expanding employment opportunities. Poverty alleviation and expansion of employment through budgetary political policies for the people towards prosperity (red wine through the Red Wine fund of Rp. 250,000,000 for each village in East Nusa Tenggara which is managed by the community for economic improvement. (3) Evaluative Orientation in the form of DPD PDIP NTT through a faction in the NTT Provincial DPRD has championed the values of marhaenism in the form of making Regional Regulations (Legislation Function), Budget function and political oversight function. APBD and government programs. Based on the results of the analysis above, the authors conclude that the DPD PDI Perjuangan East Nusa Tenggara Province has carried out or carried out Marhaenism as a Struggle Orientation. This is inseparable from the implementation of political orientation in the form of cognitive, affective and evaluative orientations.
