Abstract

The changing times in this modern era have brought progress and innovation in the field of information technology which is very beneficial for society. In its application, information technology is part of an information system that has penetrated in various fields of work. Widya Mandira Catholic University as one of the universities is also affected by the development of information systems today and one of them is about data collection of students who come from Timor Leste at UNWIRA in a manual way, so that retracing student data takes a long time with a high risk of data loss so that an information system is needed to record students who come from Timor Leste online. Therefore, this research aims to provide solutions by building a Web-based Information System for East Timorese Student Data Collection at Widya Mandira Catholic University using a waterfall research methodology that is systematic and sequential in building a software. The results of this application are expected to be an information system that can help the UNWIRA BAAK operator to speed up and facilitate the administrative services of UNWIRA students and alumni who come from Timor Leste.
