Abstract

This research is entitled: Management of Village Funds in Development in Belobatang Village, Nubatukan District, Lembata Regency in 2021. The problem raised is: what is the process of managing village funds in development in Belobatan Village in 2021. The aim of this research is to describe the management of village funds in development in Belobatang village in 2021. The benefits of this research are as a basis for adopting village fund management policies, especially in the field of infrastructure development and as a source of information in order to increase the transparency of village fund management for the Belobatang community. The Village Fund provides a very strategic position for the village. With the existence of a very large Village Fund, the village government is required to manage village finances wisely. In accordance with Law No. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages which explains that village financial management must comply with the principles ofaccountability, transparency, participation and be carried out in an orderly and budgetary manner. This research explains the management of Village Funds in development in Belobatang Village, Nubatukan District, Lembata Regency. The Belobatang Village Government must be accountable in managing Village Funds, so that the benefits can be felt by the community. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique in this research is in-depth interview techniques and documentation. The variable examined in this research is the village fund management process. Village fund management is intended as stages of planning, implementation, administration,reporting and accountability in the preparation of village finances that are transparent, accountable and participatory. Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the management of village funds in Belobatang village, Nubatukan sub-district, Lembata district was in accordance with the technical instructions regulated in Permendagri No. 20 of 2018. However, delays in the reporting process resulted in delays in the next stage of disbursement of funds, due to the application process for applying the funds. the village does not comply with the scheduled schedule. From the concluded results, recommendations or suggestions can be made for the Belobatang village government to follow the procedures and schedule that have been set so that the development work carried out can reach the target.
