Abstract

Abstract. The research was conducted to detect the influence of diazinon 60EC insecticide towards microanatomy of java local rabbit (Lepus negricollis cuvier). The research has done through an experimental method with a biological test in three steps. First, the preliminary evaluation has conducted to delimitate the upper and lower lethal concentrations or dose (LC100-24h and LC0-48h) of diazinon 60 EC; the second was determination of the toxicity of the insecticide LC50-48 h) and the save dose ( 10% of LC50-48 h). The last step was the evaluation of insecticide influence in safe dose towards microanatomy structure of hepar. The result was that microanatomy structure of hepar of rabit given 25 mg/kg BW of diozinon 60EC orally during 30 days, showed a necrosis, and nuclei became cariorexis, cariolysis or phycnosis. Cytoplasm decreased and nuclei became closer. The hepatocyt was swelling, and fat was degeneracy, indicated by the appearance of fat vacuole in the cytoplasm.
