Abstract

Coffee plantation production in Kabupaten Manggarai has never been grouped by sub-district. The purpose of this research is to develop a coffee plantation production clustering system based on sub-districts in Kabupaten Manggarai. This research uses the K-Means Clustering technique. The data used in this study came from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Kabupaten Manggarai, with the indicators used being production yield and plantation area. This research is divided into three clusters: low production (C1), medium production (C2), and high production. Based on the results of system testing, the K-Means approach used in the coffee plantation production clustering system can group the sub-districts that produce coffee in Kabupaten Manggarai. In the last ten years, sub-districts with low coffee production (cluster 1) include Satar Mese Barat, Langke Rembong, Reok, and Reok Barat. Sub-districts with medium production (cluster 2) include Satar Mese, Satar Mese Utara, Wae Ri'i, Lelak, Rahong Utara, and Cibal Barat. Meanwhile, Ruteng and Cibal are the subdistricts with the largest coffee production over the past decade.
