Abstract

The main problem in this study is how the results of the application of the cooperative learning model type make a match the main material of the Earth and volcano structure in class VII D SMPK Saint Joseph Ride on the Even Semester Academic Year 2018/2019 ?. In detail the problems in this study: (1) What is the teacher's ability to manage learning by applying the Cooperative Learning Model Type Make a Match Main Material Earth and Volcano Structures In Class VII D SMPK Saint Joseph Ride on the Even Semester Academic Year 2018/2019? ; (2) What are the cooperative skills of students in learning activities by applying the type of cooperative learning model Make a Match Main Material Earth and Volcano Structures In Class VII D SMPK Saint Joseph Ride on the Even Semester Academic Year 2018/2019 ?; (3) How is the completeness of the indicators of learning outcomes by applying the type of cooperative learning model Make a Match Main Material of the Earth and Volcano Structures In Class VII D SMPK St. Joseph Rises the Semester Even Semester Academic Year 2018/2019 ?; (4) How is the completeness of the learning outcomes of students by applying the type of cooperative learning model Make a Match Main Material Earth and Volcano Structures In Class VII D SMPK Saint Joseph Ride on the Even Semester Academic Year 2018/2019 ?; (5) How do students respond to learning activities by applying the type of cooperative learning model Make a Match Main Material Earth and Volcano Structures In Class VII D SMPK Saint Joseph Ride on Even Semester Academic Year 2018/2019 ?. Type of descriptive research. The subjects of this study were teachers (researchers) and students of class VII D SMPK St. Yoseph Naikoten in the 2018/2019 school year, which amounted to 30 students with the technique of selecting student subjects was purposive sampling. The design of this study was one group pretest posttest. Data collection techniques used were observation, tests and questionnaires. While the instruments used in this study were learning management observation sheets, cooperative skills observation sheets, cognitive learning outcomes tests, learning outcomes assessment sheets (affective and psychomotor), and participants' response sheets. student. The technique of analyzing the results of the research used is quantitative descriptive analysis including the calculation of the average score, proportion and percentage. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis, the research data shows that in general the application of the Make a Match type of cooperative learning model is optimal for the subject matter of Earth Structure and Volcanoes in students of class VII D SMPK St. Yoseph Naikoten which numbered 30 students. In detail, it can be concluded that the teacher's ability to manage learning is in a good category, students' cooperative skills are in the specified tolerance criteria, learning outcomes indicators are in the complete category, students' learning outcomes are in the complete category, and students' responses to learning very good response
