Abstract

Research title "The Effect of Production Costs on Business Income of Woven Fabrics in Tiworiwu Village, Jerebu'u District, Ngada Regency". The purpose of this study is to find out the overview of the weaving production process and strategies that can be applied to reduce production costs and increase business income descriptively and the influence of partial and simultaneous, fixed costs and variable costs on the income of weaving business craftsmen statistically. This study uses data, quantitative and data sources in the form of primary data and secondary data obtained from questionnaire techniques. The population in this study is all traditional houses in Bena village,namely 45 traditional houses consisting of 45 heads of families (KK). The sample in this study uses the slovin formula,which is 30 people. Then the data was processed using the SPSS version 24 program to find inferential statistical results, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regressions, hypothesis tests and determination tests (R2). Partially, the fixed cost variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on weaving income. Because, the significance value of the t-test is 0.001,which is smaller than the significance level > 0.05. The regression coefficient for fixed costs (X1) is 0.133, which means that every increase in one fixed cost unit will increase revenue by 0.133 units, with other factors fixed. The variable cost (X2) had a positive and significant effect on weaving income because the significance value of the t-test was 0.020, also smaller than the significance level of 0.05. The calculated t-value for variable costs is 2.465, which exceeds the corresponding table's t-value (2.048). Simultaneously, the analysis results showed that the F test showed a very low significance value (0.000) and a high calculated F value (17.467). The overall Simultaneous Effect, both fixed costs and variable costs have a significant effect on the income of the weaving business when both are included in the regression model. Advice that can be given to pennen In order not to have too much negative impact on income, it is to choose quality and cost-efficient raw materials, utilize social media to obtain a wider market and provide training to the next generation to continue the weaving business in a downward trend.
